Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chartiers Valley). They took their match on Thursday with ease, bagging a 62-35 victory over the West Allegheny Indians. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-33 back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chartiers Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Iyla Ozbey, who posted ten points and four steals. Alyssa Davis was another key player, putting up ten points and six boards.

Chartiers Valley pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for West Allegheny, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Chartiers Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-43 defeat against Upper St. Clair on the 18th. West Allegheny has also already played their next game, a 43-42 loss against North Allegheny on the 22nd.
