Mira Mesa's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Canyon Hills as Mira Mesa made off with a 3-0 win. The Marauders' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last nine matches.

Meanwhile, High Tech SD didn't have quite enough to beat Madison on Friday and fell 2-1.

Mira Mesa has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-1-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those 12 games. As for High Tech SD, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11-1.
