            While Hercules's  win against Vallejo wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Redhawks  8-7. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Redhawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  win against them.
 Noah Ledesma made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  struck out nine batters over  6.1 innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Wynston Bishop and  Rrion Walker did most of the damage at the plate:  Bishop  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  triple,  and one  run, while  Walker  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI and two  doubles. Bishop is becoming a predictor of Hercules' success: when he posts  at  least two  stolen bases the team is 9-1-1 (and 4-7-1 when he doesn't).  Nathaniel Melgoza was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run.
 Hercules  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .514. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .500 or higher in five consecutive  matchups.

Hercules' victory was  their eighth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-8-2. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Vallejo, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.
 Hercules wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  an  18-10  defeat against St. Patrick-St. Vincent on the 16th. Vallejo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
