Baseball Recap: Armuchee Comes Up Short

Armuchee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Trion Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-5 on Saturday.

Armuchee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Trion, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Armuchee will face off against Murray County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Murray County's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Armuchee's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Trion, they will challenge Christian Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
