Soccer Recap: Frontier Comes Up Short

Frontier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Garces Memorial Rams. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 637th, while the Rams are ranked 63rd).

Frontier's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13-1. As for Garces Memorial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frontier will welcome Highland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Highland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.3 goals per game this season. As for Garces Memorial, they will host Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Garces Memorial surely won't give up without a fight.
