Baseball Recap: Walker Takes a Loss

Walker's tournament run continued when they took on Tallulah Falls on Friday. The Walker Wolverines fell 6-1 to the Tallulah Falls Indians. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Walker got a good showing from Andrew Nagle, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Walker saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonathan Griggs, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Walker's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Tallulah Falls, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walker will head out to square off against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Walker is facing Mt. Bethel Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Mt. Bethel Christian Academy is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Tallulah Falls, they will head out on the road to challenge Bethlehem Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
