Yutan has gone 8-2 against Fort Calhoun recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Chieftains will be home for the holidays to greet the Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Yutan comes in on three and Fort Calhoun on four.

Yutan barely beat West Point-Beemer the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Chieftains took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 57-19 win over the Cadets. That 38 point margin sets a new team best for the Chieftains this season.

Yutan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mylee Tichota out in front who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jersey Siske, who put up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Fort Calhoun got the win against Douglas County West on Thursday by a conclusive 61-38. Fans of the Pioneers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Yutan better focus on containing Raeann Massey and Ella Bouwman as the pair were huge in Fort Calhoun's win. Massey shot 63% from the field en route to 14 points and four steals, while Bouwman went 6-for-8 to rack up 15 points. The dominant performance also gave Massey a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (75%). Another player making a difference was Ansley Elofson, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.

Yutan's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Fort Calhoun, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
