Preview: Futures Knights vs. Victory Christian Vikings
The Futures Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Victory Christian Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Futures and eight for Victory Christian.
Last Tuesday, Futures suffered a tough 42-22 defeat at the hands of Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning. Futures has struggled against Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Futures was without their leading scorer, Emma Kharchenko, in Tuesday's game. With Kharchenko sitting this one out, Syrae Farani got some extra time on the court (23 vs. her season average of 11.94).
Meanwhile, Victory Christian had to suffer through a rough 55-27 loss at the hands of Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning.
Futures has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 15 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Victory Christian, their defeat was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-20.
