Softball Recap: Hillsboro Hawks vs. Jefferson Blue Jays

It was a Battle of the Birds when Hillsboro challenged Jefferson on Monday. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Blue Jays. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Blue Jays: they've now won nine in a row.

Ashley Hilton was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk).
