Soccer Game Preview: Imperial vs. Calexico

Imperial is 1-8-1 against Calexico since January of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Imperial faced off against Brawley on Friday. The Tigers and the Wildcats finished up their match with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Imperial have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2025.

Meanwhile, Southwest EC kept up with Calexico until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Bulldogs blew past the Eagles 4-1. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Calexico considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Imperial's draw gives them a new season record of 11-7-2. As for Calexico, their win bumped their record up to 10-13-2.
