You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Centennial's strategy against Stockdale on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Centennial Golden Hawks blew the Stockdale Mustangs out of the water with a 61-14 final score. The Golden Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Centennial's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shekinah (Kai) Shaw, who posted 11 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. Shaw is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Giada Dibble, who put up 11 points and four steals.

Centennial smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 32 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Centennial is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for Stockdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Coming up, Centennial will challenge Frontier at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Centennial has won five straight at home, while Frontier won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Stockdale, they will venture away from home to challenge Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
