Soccer Recap: Toombs County Gets the Win

Toombs County's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They never let the Bulloch Academy Gators get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The Bulldogs wouldn't have won without Axcel Barbosa, who scored the game-winner.

Toombs County's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Bulloch Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Toombs County will head out on the road to challenge Savannah Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Toombs County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season. As for Bulloch Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
