Evergreen Park was the 2-1 winner over Shepard when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Astros on Thursday. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Evergreen Park was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Shepard work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24.

Fiona Buchanan paced Evergreen Park's offense, picking up nine kills. Buchanan got some help from Neve Hayes and her 18 assists. Tess Lee controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Evergreen Park's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Shepard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-7 record this season.
