After a string of five wins, Westminster Schools of Augusta's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Andrew's Lions.

Westminster Schools of Augusta was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made St. Andrew's work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-21.

Westminster Schools of Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for St. Andrew's, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Westminster Schools of Augusta and St. Andrew's will both be playing Valwood the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Valiants at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
