Basketball Recap: Eastern Lebanon County Comes Up Short

Eastern Lebanon County lost against Lancaster Catholic back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eastern Lebanon County Raiders took a 48-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 311th, while the Crusaders are ranked 53rd).

Eastern Lebanon County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Lancaster Catholic, they pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Eastern Lebanon County will challenge Lower Dauphin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lancaster Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Conestoga Valley at 12:00 p.m.
