Soccer Game Preview: East Forsyth vs. Walnut Grove

The East Forsyth Broncos will square off against the Walnut Grove Warriors at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

East Forsyth barely beat Cherokee Bluff the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. East Forsyth was the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Cherokee Bluff on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Broncos in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Walnut Grove entered their tilt with Cedar Shoals on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against the Jaguars as they made off with a 6-1 victory.

Walnut Grove's offense was hitting Cedar Shoals from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Adam Landers led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

East Forsyth pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matchups. As for Walnut Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
