Soccer Game Preview: South Hills vs. Colony

The South Hills Huskies will head out on the road to square off against the Colony Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Colony took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on South Hills, who comes in off a win.

South Hills' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Los Altos. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Meanwhile, Colony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Los Altos.

South Hills has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matches. As for Colony, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.

Everything went South Hills' way against Colony in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as South Hills made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Hills since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
