Softball Recap: Watonga Comes Up Short

Watonga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Hooker Bulldogs, falling 12-2. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly ten runs.

Watonga's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Hooker, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 7-13.

Watonga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hooker, they have already played their next matchup, a 15-0 loss against Morrison on the 25th.
