Basketball Recap: Donegal Comes Up Short

Donegal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-46 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eastern Lebanon County Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-29 back in December of 2024.

Donegal's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Eastern Lebanon County, they moved to 6-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Donegal will head out to square off against Northern Lebanon at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Northern Lebanon will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Donegal surely won't give up without a fight. As for Eastern Lebanon County, they will head out on the road to challenge Lampeter-Strasburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eastern Lebanon County is facing Lampeter-Strasburg at the right time seeing as Lampeter-Strasburg is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
