Basketball Game Recap: Rio Mesa Spartans vs. Trinity Classical Academy Knights

On Tuesday, Rio Mesa suffered a tough 60-36 defeat at the hands of Trinity Classical Academy. Rio Mesa has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Natalie Quinto and Brianna Adams certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Quinto scored 12 points along with 3 steals, while Adams scored 8 points along with 3 steals. Quinto scored a full 33.3% of Rio Mesa's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Yexiera Rivera was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.

Rio Mesa now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Trinity Classical Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rio Mesa will take on Foothill Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity Classical Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage Christian at 6:30 p.m. on November 30th. Heritage Christian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
