Robert Toombs Christian Academy had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 8-7 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Citizens Christian Academy Patriots with a sharp 12-2 win. The Crusaders' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

Brittan Tabor was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Tabor was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bray Williamson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Gage Brantley also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.
