After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lewis Central, Jefferson was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the St. Albert Falcons with a sharp 9-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Yellowjackets also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Jefferson is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-24 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for St. Albert, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-14.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will square off against Sioux City North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Albert, they will challenge Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
