Softball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Lamar Thunder.

Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Danica Flesner, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Valley's record is now 7-17. As for Lamar, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-11.

Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lamar, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lyons at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Thunder's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
