Softball Recap: Camden County Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Camden County's offense. They came up short against the Taylor County Vikings on Saturday, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Camden County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Taylor County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Camden County will challenge Pierce County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Taylor County, they will take on First Presbyterian Day in a tournament on Saturday. Taylor County's pitchers better be ready for this one: First Presbyterian Day has averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
