Soccer Recap: Greenfield Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Greenfield was not quite Gonzales's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gonzales Spartans. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-3. As for Gonzales, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8-2 record this season.

Coming up, Greenfield will head out to challenge Stevenson at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gonzales, they will host Santa Catalina at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Santa Catalina's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
