Softball Recap: Tupelo Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Tupelo took a 14-run loss the last time they faced off against Stuart, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Hornets on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Tupelo's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Stuart, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.

Tupelo has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Ada on the 6th. As for Stuart, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Asher on the 8th.
