Meeker and Eagle Valley are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2017, but likely not for long. The Cowboys will challenge the Devils at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Monday, Meeker got the win against Battle Mountain by a conclusive 16-1. The victory continues a trend for the Cowboys in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won six in a row.

Addie Knowles was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Knowles was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Eagle Valley made easy work of Battle Mountain on Thursday and carried off a 19-4 win. With that victory, the Devils brought their scoring average up to 6.7 runs per game.

Meeker's record is now 6-13. As for Eagle Valley, their record now sits at 6-12-1.

Meeker couldn't quite get it done against Eagle Valley in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 18-14. Can the Cowboys avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
