Two dominant guards in Victoria Hernandez and Ronnie Herrmann are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Campbell Hall Vikings will be playing at home against the Glendora Tartans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Campbell Hall is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.3 points per game this season.
Last Wednesday, Campbell Hall was beaten by Windward 84-44. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 229th, while the Wildcats are ranked 17th).

Romy D'Addario put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in boards. Hernandez was another key player, putting up eight points and 13 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Campbell Hall smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, after only 25 points in their last matchup, Glendora made sure to put some points up on the board against Walnut on Tuesday. Glendora strolled past Walnut with points to spare, taking the game 64-48. The Tartans haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Campbell Hall better focus on containing Herrmann and Mia Reyes as the pair were huge in Glendora's win. Herrmann almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards, while Reyes went 8 of 12 to rack up 20 points and eight rebounds. Herrmann also grabbed six steals, which is notable because Glendora is 9-1 when she posts at least five steals, but 8-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Brianna Gomez, who posted 14 points.
Glendora's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Campbell Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Campbell Hall has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 36.5 boards per game. However, it's not like Glendora struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.2 rebounds.
