Basketball Recap: Wyoming Area Takes a Loss

Wyoming Area lost against Holy Redeemer back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wyoming Area Warriors were beaten by the Holy Redeemer Royals 45-13. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-5.

Shannon Kearns was Wyoming Area's leading scorer, having posted five points. Kearns also led the team in rebounds with six.

Wyoming Area's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Holy Redeemer, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Wyoming Area has already played their next game, a 34-24 defeat against Wyoming Seminary College Prep on the 5th. Holy Redeemer has also already played their next match (against Greater Nanticoke Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
