River View entered their tilt with Sheridan on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Generals. River View wouldn't have won without Cameron Murphy, who scored the game-winner.

River View's win bumped their record up to 7-3-5. As for Sheridan, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-8.

River View will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on West Muskingum at 7:00 p.m. on October 7. As for Sheridan, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Heath on the 27th.
