Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Washington County). Everything went their way against the Southwest Patriots on Tuesday as they made off with a 22-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Golden Hawks, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Washington County's tenth in a row) raised their record to 18-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Southwest, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Washington County beat the Patriots by a score of 12-0 later that day.
