Softball Recap: Dutchtown Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Dutchtown, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against the McDonough Warhawks on Monday as they made off with a 23-11 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won three contests by more than 11 runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win got Dutchtown back to even at 3-3. As for McDonough, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Dutchtown will host Lovejoy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McDonough, they will venture away from home to square off against Hampton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 24.75 runs per game on average), something the Warhawks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
