Basketball Recap: Serrano Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Serrano's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They strolled past the Monrovia Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 37-22. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Diamondbacks as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Serrano's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8. As for Monrovia, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Serrano will head out to take on Knight at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Knight is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.3 points per game this season. As for Monrovia, they will be playing at home against Temple City at 5:15 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
