Soccer Recap: West Ranch Comes Up Short

West Ranch lost against Hart back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The West Ranch Wildcats lost 5-0 to the Hart Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 381st, while the Hawks are ranked 101st).

West Ranch has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-2 record this season. As for Hart, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Ranch will square off against Golden Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Ranch is facing Golden Valley at the right time seeing as Golden Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hart, they will take on Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
