Soccer Game Preview: Porterville vs. El Diamante

The Porterville Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the El Diamante Miners at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Porterville has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight losses, while El Diamante will come in with five straight wins.

Porterville fell victim to Golden West and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Trailblazers by a score of 1-0. El Diamante is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those ten matches. As for Porterville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-3.
