Everything went the Sartans' way against Hope Christian as they made off with a 3-0 victory. St. Pius X's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

They hit Hope Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kenneth Calderon, Anthony Gustamantes, and Nico Certain.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Valencia's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost 7-0 to Santa Teresa. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Valencia's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

St. Pius X's win bumped their record up to 7-1-3. As for Valencia, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Everything went St. Pius X's way against Valencia when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as St. Pius X made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sartans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
