Volleyball Game Preview: Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes vs. Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls

The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes will venture away from home to take on the Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pojoaque Valley lost 3-0 to Belen on Thursday. The Elks/Elkettes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Pojoaque Valley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Oak Grove Classical Academy came tearing into Monday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warrior.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Oak Grove Classical Academy took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-7, 25-14.

Pojoaque Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Oak Grove Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Pojoaque Valley suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Oak Grove Classical Academy in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Elks/Elkettes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
