Soccer Game Preview: Canyon Hills vs. Brawley

The Canyon Hills Rattlers will be taking part in a tournament against the Brawley Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Canyon Hills' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Southwest EC with a sharp 7-0 win. That looming 7-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rattlers yet this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Brawley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Southwest SD on Tuesday, sneaking past 1-0. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-17-3), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Brawley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season. As for Canyon Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-0-1.
