Branford and Dixie County are an even 2-2-3 against one another since November of 2022, but likely not for long. The Buccaneers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Dixie County will have to contend with a Branford squad hungry for a victory, something the team hasn't seen since December 9. Branford and Lafayette finished up their match with a 3-3 draw on Tuesday. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Branford have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2025.

Meanwhile, Hamilton County kept up with Dixie County until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Bears blew past the Trojans 4-1. Considering Dixie County have won four matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Branford's draw makes their record 4-8-4 this season. As for Dixie County, they now have a winning record of 5-4-2.
