Basketball Recap: Big Valley Christian's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Stockton Christian came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Big Valley Christian, but Anni Boren wouldn't allow it. The Big Valley Christian Lions came out on top against the Stockton Christian Eagles by a score of 48-36 on Friday thanks in part to Boren, who posted 24 points. The contest was her fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Despite the loss, Stockton Christian still got an impressive performance from Jami Araya, who had 16 points. Another player making a difference was Aliya Meeks, who earned six points.

Big Valley Christian's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5. As for Stockton Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Big Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 31-24 win against Summerville on the 7th. As for Stockton Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-30 victory against Gustine on the 7th.
