Baseball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

The Jackson Red Devils lost 11-1 to the Crawford County Eagles on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Red Devils have lost by exactly ten runs.

Jackson has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season. As for Crawford County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-8.

Looking ahead, Crawford County will venture away from home to face off against Rutland at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are facing the Hurricanes at the right time seeing as the Hurricanes are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. Jackson will be paying especially close attention to Crawford County's game: after Crawford County faces off against Wilcox County, they'll take on Jackson again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
