Baseball Recap: Lorain Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lorain can now relate to. They lost 9-0 to the Jackson Polar Bears on Wednesday. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lorain's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18-1. As for Jackson, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7.

Lorain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jackson, they will challenge Findlay at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Polar Bears' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
