Softball Recap: Mundy's Mill Comes Up Short

After soaring to 19 runs the game before, Mundy's Mill was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Jonesboro Cardinals, falling 19-1. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Mundy's Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Jonesboro, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-9.

Looking ahead, Mundy's Mill will head out on the road to challenge Carver at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.92 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Jonesboro, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Griffin on the 30th.
