Basketball Game Preview: Santiago Cavaliers vs. Orange Panthers

The Santiago Cavaliers are taking a road trip to challenge the Orange Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santiago hasn't scored more than 21 points for 11 games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Santiago is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Santa Ana Valley on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Santiago took a blow against Santa Ana Valley, falling 70-10. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-8.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 41-6, which was the final score in Orange's tilt against La Quinta on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Aztecs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Santiago's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Orange, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
