Softball Recap: Grand View Christian Comes Up Short

Grand View Christian lost against Prairie City-Monroe back in May, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Thunder lost 11-1 to the Mustangs.

Grand View Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Prairie City-Monroe, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Grand View Christian and Prairie City-Monroe should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings. The Thunder will face off against Saydel at 7:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (86 vs. 259). Meanwhile, Prairie City-Monroe (ranked 26th) will meet Nevada (ranked 285th) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
