Soccer Recap: Temple Comes Up Short

Temple was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hiram Hornets.

Obed Baez-Rivera and Jalen Wirth scored both of Temple's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

Temple now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Hiram, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Temple will welcome Donoho at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hiram, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Villa Rica at 7:30 p.m.
