Soccer Game Preview: Dos Pueblos vs. Oxnard

Dos Pueblos hasn't had much luck against Oxnard recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Chargers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Yellowjackets at 5:15 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Dos Pueblos beat San Marcos 3-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Dos Pueblos' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 227th, while San Marcos are ranked 509th).

Dos Pueblos hit San Marcos with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kacey Hurley, Hazel Burgess, and Alina Seidel.

Meanwhile, Oxnard waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Spartans. That's two games straight that Oxnard have won by exactly two goals.

Oxnard's win bumped their record up to 9-3-5. As for Dos Pueblos, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4-4.
