The matchup between Trinity Prep and Rio Lindo Adventist on Friday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Crusaders never let the Spartans get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Trinity Prep might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by five goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Rio Lindo Adventist from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Caroline Heil led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

The win was the third in a row for Trinity Prep, bringing their record up to 6-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Rio Lindo Adventist, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coming up, Trinity Prep will square off against Averroes at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Rio Lindo Adventist will be paying especially close attention to the Crusaders' match: after the Crusaders faces off against Leroy Greene Academy, they'll take on Rio Lindo Adventist again at 4:00 p.m. on the 25th.
