Basketball Recap: Little Flower Catholic for Girls Comes Up Short

Little Flower Catholic for Girls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 39-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls. Little Flower Catholic for Girls lost against Archbishop Ryan in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 48-16 score last time.

Despite the defeat, Little Flower Catholic for Girls saw an underclassman step up: freshman Saani Evans posted 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Evans has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Zolk, who put up eight points.

Little Flower Catholic for Girls' loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Archbishop Ryan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-15.

Little Flower Catholic for Girls has already played their next contest, a 64-18 defeat against Cardinal O'Hara on the 6th. Archbishop Ryan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
