Softball Game Preview: Cass Colonels vs. Dalton Catamounts + Official Tickets

The Cass Colonels are taking a road trip to square off against the Dalton Catamounts at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dalton took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Cass, who comes in off a win.

Cass was handed an eight-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Chattooga 8-6. The win was some much needed relief for the Colonels as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Dalton came up short against Cedartown on Thursday and fell 10-5. The Catamounts have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Cass' victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Dalton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.

Everything went Cass' way against Dalton in their previous matchup back in September, as Cass made off with a 9-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colonels since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
